Introduction
Science is absolutely loving

Love is absolutely scientific
promoting harmony, balance
A life lived lovingly in concert with natural laws
integrates spiritual-scientific consciousness
Scientific
law, harmony, pervades the universe. Predictable mechanisms, predictable
responses, interwoven, interrelated as with the workings of a fine watch. From
the perspective of overall consciousness, love and science are one. One plus
one equals two, whether on an addition chart or in a relationship.
As we interact harmoniously, we align with
the basic precept of nature: cooperation. Through harmonious cooperation we
become increasingly aware and conscious of ourselves and the world; we find we
can harmoniously function with anyone, anywhere, under all circumstances, just
as mathematical scientific principles are present and function with
interrelation everywhere.
Abundant energy comes into our body when by
our positive attitudes we align with nature's laws. We become an asset to
everyone as we manifest within the principles that keep our universe running
rhythmically, harmoniously. When we are feeling enlivened by our state of
harmony, we most easily manifest acceptance and unconditional love. Energy radiates
from us, warming everyone, as predictably as the sun radiates and warms
everything by its rays of energy. Radiating as the sun, we feel exquisitely
good, as we are being sustained by our alignment within the harmonious
mathematical workings of the universe. If alignment with the harmonious
scientific laws of creation is so enlivening, can we imagine what direct
alignment with the source of creation would lend our consciousness?
We can't imagine, but we can experience an
ever-expanding consciousness by loving unconditionally. Basic consciousness is
our state of awareness at any given moment.
Consciousness is scientific because we grow
in awareness using the natural principle of cause and effect: Our loving
actions are the cause, and the effect is our ever increasing awareness of being
interconnected with the rest of creation.
In order to come to our full state of
consciousness we go through a scientific process of evolution. An analogy can
be seen by the various stages of a human life, from babyhood to the accumulated
wisdom of old age. In general, the individual progression can be seen
awakening, and gradually integrated into the whole of living over time.
1. Instinct—preservation; reproduction;
2. Mind—analysis, planning, arranging the
situation to suit personal desires;
3. Loving, giving, caring,
sharing—considering the needs of others and acting for the best resolve of the
situation;
4. Self -Realization—experiencing happiness
as a quality of one's own being;
5. Universal Consciousness;
Communion—vibrantly experiencing one's self within every atom of creation; by
will power, using the infinite resources to create that which uplifts,
energizes, and harmonizes.
With a
fully developed consciousness
we flavor well how we act
upon our instincts, desires, and caring concerns
All aspects of mind working through brain cells
directing the functioning and movements of our body
We notice that when we are feeling best
physically, it is easier to both think creatively, and use deductive reasoning.
Our mind functions best when our brain cells are healthiest. And that is
deductive reasoning, showing the interdependent functioning of brain and mind.
Intuitive and factual information as well as
input from our sense organs is stored in brain cells. And conversely, our
thoughts direct our brain cells, which in turn send out the messages to make
our body function as we wish. Our brain plays the role of receiver, storer, and sender, all under the direction of will. We
decide, to whatever lesser or greater degree we are aware of doing so, what
instructions to give our brain to be carried out to the whole of our body for
action. When conscious thought is not directing our brain activities, such as
in deep sleep, the instinctual functioning of the brain takes over to keep the
body alive.
All sources of information influence our
thoughts. It is by our will power that we decide what to do to have the fullest
experience of life. We move towards our full consciousness, reversing
digressions, by following the outer guidelines set forth by ethical, moral,
religious, and civil codes of behavior. These guidelines serve as our safety
net while we develop our own strong conscience, and the consciousness that
follows.

Pertaining to our soul, consciousness is
awareness of and alignment with the highest good as we perceive it, in every
new moment of our existence. As our level of consciousness rises, our desire to
harmonize prevailing circumstances with the highest good becomes automatic.
Consciousness aligned with the highest good is like waking up, with a sigh of
relief, from a
dream where events were happening beyond our control. Awakening into
consciousness allows us to enjoy our natural peace and contentment. As we
become more fully awakened we harmonize with the greater picture, because we
are adapting more ease fully to changing circumstances and relationships as
they occur, without resistance.

To develop our own consciousness, and its
result, a life of contentment, requires maintaining an ethical lifestyle
combined with the choice to act for the highest good that we are aware of in
each moment, even when we would prefer to do or have something different.
Being
Human
is Being Humane
To be divinely human is to express each facet
of our being with the highest regard for ourselves, others, and the whole
world. The divine state does not preclude any aspect of our humanness. Instead,
it defines, refines, or re-defines each part of our being so the purity of
Truth can easily shine through each deed.
Every action we could ever think to do is a
lesson for our growth into awareness of our everlasting Soul. Through our
experiences in this world, we learn which kinds of actions open us to our
underlying happiness. And we choose to do more and more of these types of
actions as we go along because we would like to be happy all the time.
Characteristics of living as divine humans,
with our soul blossoming are: Our actions are done for the highest good of
ourselves, others, and the creation; and we harmonize with the natural laws of
the universe.
By our example of living in harmony we serve
as true human beings. We enjoy happiness, and our example shows others the
pathway to their state of happiness. And in the harmony of our beautifully
developing soul we imbibe and radiate the self-effulgent joy.
Acting
and adapting for the highest good
while living ethically, morally
allows consciousness to develop
harmony to prevail
In consciousness there is nothing beyond us
that is not us
And all in this world should be experienced
with the attention we would give ourselves
The conscious experience
of ourselves beyond ourselves
develops and grows
through caring attitudes and actions in the world
Our soul truly is of unlimited dimension. But
at physical conception our soul centers its seat of consciousness in a 'bodily'
disguise. We dress our soul, (along with the mind it uses to assimilate and
relate with), in the costume of a body for the purpose of gaining more consciousness
of ourselves.
Our body and mind are composed of elements
that derive from energy. And science explains this energy as one force taking
many dress codes over eternity. We might even say that energy reveals itself
lovingly because it manifests from harmonious interaction.
The body elements are
composed of earth elements and at physical death go back to their
elemental form. The elements composing the mind are of a finer nature in
relation to the elements composing the physical, but they are still definable
as energy. At physical death the mind survives and accompanies the individual
soul until man no longer needs the mind's help in realizing his only permanent
nature: his soul.
The soul is not composed of energy or
elements. Its property is permanence. The property of the body-mind changes
form, energy to matter back to energy. In the written word and on the
intellectual plane the body-mind and soul can be explained. But the soul can
only be realized by experiencing its nature, and this happens quite easily
through the practice of meditation. In meditation the body becomes still. The
still body helps by example to still the running of thoughts through the mind.
The mind should be given one thought to concentrate on to still itself—an
uplifting word or phrase is appropriate. By this continued practice the
body-mind is made aware of its permanent self or soul or individualized spirit.
In meditation the soul observes a constant
hum of energy at first observed in the head. By deduction we analyze and find
it is not part of the mind because the mind can have thoughts going on while
the hum is still present in the background.
The property of this cosmic hum is one of
constancy, always present in us in our every atom, in every atom in nature and
every atom of the mind. This cosmic energy vibrates continually, upholding all
creation.
It is the ultimate revelation of love and
science exploding in ultimate harmony as supreme energy. Enough
energy to power every atom of existence.
Scientists can see that the movement within
the atom is continuous. The fine form of the cosmic hum is what sustains this
atomic movement. In scripture this intelligent creative aspect of God, this
cosmic hum, is known as 'The Holy Spirit', third person in the Trinity, the
force creating and sustaining the manifest universe. (This is but one example
of how parallel scientific and religious understandings are.)
Who is listening to or observing this cosmic
hum? The Soul. Our individual soul observes the
actions of our mind and mind-controlled body always. But the soul is never
touched negatively by our thoughts or actions. Our soul observes as if from a
grand stand, watching the parade of events go by. We get so involved with the
passing changing events that we identify with each new 'float' as it goes by
and forget that we are just observers. In meditation we have the chance to sit
back as observers once again and watch the parade go by.
Peace
is experienced when we realize
that all of life's changes can not really affect
our state of consciousness negatively or permanently
We were Soul before we took on this body-mind
For eons, our soul carries along the package
of an unseen mind—an unseen mind that reacts to input; processes data; stores
and processes and stores ever more data—data that is acted upon in our
subsequent mental thoughts and physical actions. This package of evolving mind
aids our continual growth in consciousness of the very soul that is carrying it
along. And when we grow so much in Self or Soul
consciousness that we need not use the package of mind or body to gather
experiences leading to our fullest bliss; we then abandon the limited baggage
of both our mental aspect and physical body forever.
In Summary: Through meditation we have
contact with our soul and come to feel our integral link with every other soul.
And through meditation we become aware of our life's purpose—growth in
awareness of our everlasting home in joy, peace and never ending perfectly
fulfilling love. We each then stand at the center of the universe; aware that
we, as Soul, are an infinite
body of bliss.

Inspiring are the reflections of intelligent
harmony in nature; panoramic sunrises and sunsets; colorful scented blossoms;
the overwhelming majesty of mountains ascending through the clouds; the
peaceful wash of sea dissolving into the distant horizon—our rhythmic and
cyclical nature.
Our nature seen in the beauty we label
harmony; its rhythms and cycles called scientific. A scene uplifting one into
consciousness of love—love for nature, flooding out to caring love for others.
But more than by observing and appreciating
the beauty and intelligence of nature we can experience the innate vibrance through the relationship of deep human love.
As we gaze with love upon or think about our
beloved, the natural beauty and harmony manifests as an energized vibrant
spring from our core. A profuse lovingness warms our physical body; bringing to
our mind a sense of wholeness, well-being, and awareness of our transcendental
self.
In the depths of intimacy between loving
souls we transcend our awareness of ourselves as just observers of nature's
beauty, intelligence, and harmony. In the depths of loving human intimacy we
come to experience our unseen roots of consciousness as stretching backward;
therefore ever forward in time. We come to realize that our consciousness of
love and connection is alive in us, whether or not we are in the physical
presence of our beloved, and beloved relatives and
friends. And in this parallel we know that our source of life—Love—is ever
alive as a flood of intelligent vibrant energy welling up from deep within.

following our conscience
promotes greater consciousness
Our conscientious actions expand our
consciousness of who we are, why we are on earth, and our role in the universal
plan.
An analogy: The higher we climb up a mountain
side, the more our view expands. First, we see other hillsides enclosing us;
continuing the uphill climb we at last look way beyond other mountain tops,
freed of barriers to our vision.
Standing
on the mountain top
the feeling of expansiveness we experience
in our body and mind
in viewing such an unlimited panorama
is an example of how we feel
as we get closer to the peak
of our possible consciousness
We can really attain our peak of consciousness
by continually acting
in accord with our conscience, consistently
day by day
The air at the mountain top is clean and
clear and the actions of a clear and clean mind are simple and pure, loving and
expansive, no hills of ego or self-centeredness blocking our view point and
actions.
Why stay down in the tangled undergrowth of
self-centeredness when by walking upward, and looking outward from our
self-centered interests, we can enjoy the panorama of unlimited consciousness?
Consciousness
expanding
through an outwardly loving view
To create an enjoyable dinner, we first
visualize how the meal will look and taste—we then
buy, prepare, and eat the food.
On the universal scale we see the visions
that have been brought into physical form—the sky of stellar objects, plants,
animals, ourselves, everything.
All the aspects
interrelating through exchanges of energy that complement and support each
other. All parts
harmoniously compounding one upon the other in their various roles, forming the
whole.
The cooperative laws we describe as science
perceived as harmony. And when uplifting our spirit described
as loving harmony.
We are curious about the nature of the
Universal Creator that has manifested the physical-mental dimension—harmonious,
rhythmical, cyclical, growing, diversified objects, and the higher forms of
intelligent existence.
In the foregoing example, we saw that our
dinner began as a vision, followed by a thought process directing the physical
action necessary to produce it. Following this logic, we see that our precisely
planned and gracefully functioning physical universe came about from a well
thought out and implemented vision. Both scientific and
harmonious.
The Creator of the universe used methods we
do not wholly understand, as our minds are part of what was created. But we can
come to experience our existence as an essential interlocking part of the
harmony of the large universal home by living in the way that allows us to
function easily within the natural rhythms and cycles of everyday life. We do
this by caring, sharing, and loving with all forms of creation touching our
life.
The more consciously in tune we become with
the basic principles of creation, which comes down to living our part harmoniously,
the closer we come to experiencing our Creator.

The harmonious rhythms of music, pleasing to

in all of our daily interactions and activities.
