Uplifting Thoughts…
From Harlan F. Daniel
May 12, 1999… As I walked to work this morning, I stopped beside the road and absorbed the beauty of the wild iris, radiant in their purple robes, resplendent in their praise to God for this sunny day in Oregon. I remember the priests that too wore their habits of purple, also praising the Lord. Joyous to be able to announce to the congregation in human voice of God's love.
...on my way to the school, I cross over a babbling brook in a verdant cove. The brook, unnamed, flows from the heights of the hills to the Siuslaw. The purpose of this brook is to supply the tingling natural sounds to the ears of those who hear. To provide the glimmering reflectiveness of the light and sky to those who see. And to yield the freshness of crisp nature to those who smell. I am so happy to enjoy this every day. Please close your eyes for one moment and in quiet peace, you can too. baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbblllleeee
