12. December 1, 2022 – Stan looking out the new front dormer window. The dormer was insulated in construction and the cracks after installation were filled with a plastic insulation that puffs up and dries solid. We need to do all the finish work. We had to give up the cabinets lining the front wall, but we gained their floor space. We are not going to enclose that space. Keeping it for an additional 30 square feet of attic floor. (Shown in front of Stan’s feet.)

Storm Poly, July 5, 2023

1.  July 5, 2023 – The worst storm ever in The Netherlands according to the news. Winds 140 kph. Photos taken by Susan Kramer at 12:45pm. These trees are on the school property across the street from us. We watched the destruction from our front dormer window. Large branch of tree at left fell into street and 2 men came outside and pulled it to sidewalk and lawn. The tree behind the white van uprooted and fell just into street.

2. July 5, 2023 – The tree to the left was the first to lose a large branch which the wind picked up and moved from right to left. The tree to right lost its branch next and 2 men moved it out of the street.
