Susan's daughter,
Sarada and her husband Sean arrived via KLM on April 1st. Here are some
photos from our touring. The first 3 photos are from Keukenhof gardens
in Lisse. Each year this 80 acre garden is open in Spring - this year
March 23-May19th. Growers from all over the country come in and set
their best bulbs in artistic arrangements in the grounds and the
several large glass buildings.
The 2nd set of photos from the 4th
picture on are from the little reconstructed village of Zaanse Schans
on the River Zaan, which is actually less than 20 miles from Stan and
Susan in Castricum. The temperature both days was in the 40s with sharp
wind- that's why we're bundled up!
