Miss Dill – March 12, 1930 – 1/1/2020. Capital newspaper reported that Severna Park Elementary School teacher Mary Erma Dill has passed away on January 1st at age 89. She was our 5^th grade teacher at Severna Park Elementary School, and a picture of her with our class is below.

Linda Holloway Rodriguez – 6/8/46 – 8/3/2021:

Linda Rodriguez died on Tuesday, August 3, [2021], surrounded by family. Linda was born on June 8, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, spent her formative years in Severna Park, and adult life in and around Annapolis. Linda was raised in a time and place which is largely gone and with a group of loyal friends which keeps this memory alive along with those who were blessed to hear her stories. Water skiing down the entire length of the Severn River, boating, crabbing, crab feasts, beach bonfires, big cars, and life-long friends are just a few hallmarks of that wonderful time and place. Linda graduated from Severna Park High School in 1964 and then attended The University of Maryland. As Linda aged, she grew to love snow-birding in the Florida Keys along with her Methodist church and mission work; gunkholing on the Chesapeake Bay; knitting and chatting with girlfriends; unabashedly cheering her grandchildren's success at lacrosse, field hockey, and swimming events; and last but not least, Sunday dinners with her family and grandchildren. Linda retired from the Navy's David Taylor Research Center Annapolis Laboratory in 1999 with 34 years of federal service. Linda served as a technical writer/editor, as well as a Public Affairs Officer whose final duty was to plan and officiate the Navy's closure of the Annapolis Laboratory. Linda is survived by her husband of 24 years, Anthony Rodriguez, daughter Jody Brooks (Jeff), her brother Dean Holloway, and her grandchildren Thomas, Lilly, and Madalyn. Linda is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Madalyn Holloway. Please join us for a celebration honoring Linda's life on Thursday, August 26 at 10 a.m., at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd. in Annapolis. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Johns Hopkins Hospital and designate to the Department of Neurosurgery or the Johns Hopkins Hospital Nurses via https://secure.jhu.edu/form/fjhm. Bill Wemmer – passed away August 25, 2021. This is from his brother, Dave: “I am sorry to report the passing of my older brother William (Bill) Wemmer on August 25th, in Stuart, Florida from COVID 19 complications. Bill was a SPHS, class of 1964 graduate and served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict. He is survived by his brothers David, Greg, and Jeffrey and his sister Jan; as well as his children Christopher and Natalie, and three grandchildren Skylar, Aaron, and Bryson. R.I.P. Bill … you will be greatly missed!”
